ORIGIN STORY
From hard graft plumber to taking a national lead in design and service
Premier Contract Supplies was set up in 1998 by Vince Caldicott, a former heating engineer who owned Premier Heating Supplies - a company selling heating supplies and bathrooms to the public.
Whilst running PHS he saw that there was a gap within the contract market for a high quality sanitary ware supplier, and Premier Contract Supplies was born.
We started with a small team based in Frimley, with a warehouse unit of 2,000 sq ft. Within three years the company had purchased the property at Farnborough – our current head office – and acquired 18,000 sq ft of warehouse space.
From the start, we focussed on building strong relationships with key housebuilders – companies such as Crest Nicholson, Berkeley Homes, Gladedale, and so on. We also worked closely with several key suppliers to build a strong presence within the industry, offering a vast range of quality products at reasonable prices.
As a company, we pride ourselves on delivering a high level of service and putting our customers first, which has led to our positive reputation within the contract market. Over the last 26 years we have established fantastic teams and distribution centres around the UK, enabling us to offer a national service. Despite challenges Premier Contract Supplies continues to grow stronger and stronger, and as we look to the future we are focussed on growing and developing our team so that we can continue to deliver excellent service.

We have been supporting the work of World Vision for over 10 years, helping to provide water, food, healthcare, education and disaster relief to communities around the world. The charity are amazing at feeding back exactly how our profit allocated giving and salary sacrifice scheme impacts the lives of individuals and families.
This work is hugely important and we are proud supporters.
FRIENDS FIRST
Premier Contract Supplies' work with Friends First is an incredible partnership where we've seen homeless men and ex-offenders come off the streets and into housing, employment, and learning new skills. The managers of the project ensure residents are looked out for and mentored. It's a transformative and life-changing and directly effects local communities.
FUNDRAISING
At Premier Contract Supplies, people are important to us. We regularly hold fund-raisers in aid of charities & individuals that are close to our hearts.

SUSTAINABILITY
Helping people around the world comes hand-in-hand with looking after the world itself
At Premier Contract Supplies, we have worked hard to put amazing systems in place to reduce our carbon emissions. These systems have longevity; cutting pollution and the burning of fossil fuels in an effective way.

Our distribution centres are powered by a solar network, linked to an energy storage solution. So even when the sun isn't shining, the office lights are!
With so much material coming through our distribution centres, we needed a way to recycle on-site and guarantee an end result. So we introduced compacting systems on site to help with this.
Whether it's ride sharing or driving instead of flying, we are always looking for ways (big or small) to become more energy efficient; playing our part in saving our incredible planet.
To take advantage of our sustainable resources, staff on the road are helped to their destinations with electric. Electric vehicles are becoming commonplace within Premier Contract Supplies and we enjoy seeing the impact of this at our distribution centres and offices.

This is just another step in our development plan to reach 'carbon neutral' status, visibly reducing emissions in built up areas.
